Since Chris and I were spending Christmas with our families we had designated the Sunday before to be our "Fake Christmas." The day ended up being extra lovely when New York was blanketed with snow.
Shortly before Christmas we got this little tree on the street near Chris's school and carried it home on the train. I sewed us some stocking out of some leftover scrapes of fabric from Ikea. For breakfast I made my favorite Christmas dish, cinnamon rolls. After breakfast and presents we put our new sled to use sledding in nearby Fort Greene Park.
